Sister sent me a picture of Mum and Dad at the Red Sox game versus the Angels. Looks like they had a good time.
There’s another game coming up in May… Dad just might have to go, again! Mom bought him the MLB ticket package on cable so he can watch all the games. He absolutely [...]
Hugs Through a Dress

Mom told me yesterday that since I’ve been away, every day, Dad goes in to the closet, finds my wedding dress and hugs it. He told Mum he does it because it’s the only way he can hug me while I’m away. It certainly made me chuckle a bit but also a little sad for not being there. In any case, [...]

I’ve been talking to the fam at home and it appears things are going well. They’ve gone to the Red Sox baseball game and Sister had Dad out at the driving range today whacking away at the balls. I guess he’s doing well. Tonight they went out for Mexican food at a popular restaurant that [...]

I’ve gotten some emails asking how Australia is going and I must say it’s lovely to be back. We’re having a great time although it’s tough being so far away from Mum & Dad, Sister and friends again. Despite the distance, we’re having a great time and love being back in Sydney. Shortly, we’ll be [...]

It sounds like Mom, Dad and Sister are having a good time together. The Boston Red Sox were in town so they all went to the game on Saturday. I guess Dad had a bit of a rough morning but once they got to the game, he did well and had a good time. Sister [...]

Baseball season is under way and Dad is happy about that! The Boston Red Sox are our team and he’s keen to see how they do this season. Opening day was this week so he got to see the game. Luckily, our cable provider is showing a week’s worth of free baseball so Dad got to see the Red [...]

Sister is on a plane right now en route to visit with the parents for 10 days. Needless to say Mom and Dad are thrilled to see her and I’m sure Mom is looking forward to having a little help around.
I hope you guys have a good visit. xo

Mom is doing okay today. Dad’s OCD tendencies and his bathroom habits have her going mad but otherwise things are relatively okay. Dad keeps having accidents and then doesn’t tell Mum and tries to deny that it happened. Personally I don’t know how he can deal with being soiled and not wanting to get cleaned up [...]

I talked to my Mom yesterday. She was having a bad day with Dad. It seems like everything just came to a boil and she got very upset. Of course she didn’t want to talk about it but eventually she told me. I think just everything has been building up and then there was a [...]

Things seem to be going relatively well back home. Dad’s OCD and bathroom habits have mom a bit frustrated and exhausted but otherwise, things seem okay for the most part. They’ve been keeping busy with running errands, going to the movies and things of that nature. My sister will be out to see my parents [...]
